INTEDIF & ASPAC Conference 2026

Sawasdee and Welcome

It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the official website of the International Directors Forum (INTEDIF) 2026 and the Asia Pacific Network of Science and Technology Centres Conference 2026 (ASPAC Conference 2026). These two distinguished back-to-back international conferences will bring together leaders, professionals, and practitioners from science museums, science centres, and science engagement networks worldwide. INTEDIF 2026 will be held on 17–18 August 2026, followed by ASPAC Conference 2026 on 19–22 August 2026 at Bangkok, Thailand

Under the conference theme, “Museums Empowering Futures: Science Engagement in the Age of Uncertainty,” the events will explore the evolving role of museums and science centres in inspiring curiosity, strengthening critical thinking, and empowering communities in a rapidly changing world. More than 300 international participants from across the globe are expected to join ASPAC Conference 2026, creating a vibrant platform for collaboration, innovation, and the exchange of ideas in science communication and public engagement.

In 2026, the National Science Museum Thailand (NSM) is honoured to host ASPAC Conference 2026. In collaboration with the Asia Pacific Network of Science and Technology Centres (ASPAC) and international partner networks, NSM is also proud to co-host INTEDIF 2026.

The conferences will take place across two major venues: the National Science and Technology Fair 2026 (NST Fair 2026) at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi, one of the largest science festival in ASEAN and the National Science Museum Thailand (NSM) in Khlong Luang, Pathum Thani. Set in Bangkok, widely recognized as one of the world’s most attractive and vibrant cities, the conferences will offer participants an unforgettable opportunity to experience the intersection of science, culture, creativity, and global connection in the heart of Thailand.

Together, these settings provide a dynamic and inspiring environment for strategic dialogue, professional exchange, partnership development, and innovation in science engagement.

We warmly invite directors, executives, researchers, educators, and science engagement professionals to join us in Thailand for this important global gathering, where we will explore the evolving role of science museums and science centres in shaping resilient and empowered communities.
